The Speaker made reference to the loss of lives of 28 persons and injuries to several others due to fall of a bus in a deep gorge at Khaneri near Rampur in Himachal Pradesh on 20 July, 2017.  She also made reference to the reported loss of lives of 9 persons and injuries to several other due to overturning of a bus carrying pilgrims near Udaipur, Rajasthan on 22 July 2017.  She further made reference to the reported heavy loss of life and property due to heavy rains and floods in several parts of Gujarat.
